Design, engineering and consulting company MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s. was established by this name in January 1996. The company has been dynamically developing ever since and quickly managed to break into the complex field of investment planning not only in the Czech Republic.
Newly established MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s. had a great foundation. The core team of designers came from the most experienced specialists from the design office of Czech Railways in Olomouc, which was one of the few offices that managed to gain a reputation of high-quality design organisation thanks to decades of experience.
The core team of designers of design office of the Czech Railways was in 1994 firstly integrated into the organizational structure of renowned design company SUDOP PRAHA a.s. This meant the creation of new headquarters of the company located in Olomouc, thanks to which the company extended the operations in Moravia.
Formed employee structure, own staff and professional erudition, high-quality technical and technological facilities, mainly latest computer technology, but foremost positive reviews of design business enabled establishing a new standalone entity, which could work in the field of investment planning in the Czech Republic.
After stakeholders’ meeting and establishment of controlling body, MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s. was entered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Regional Court in Ostrava, section B, file 1217 on 30 January 1996. The company’s name is often being abbreviated to the MCO acronym in accordance of the company’s logotype.
When established, the company consisted of two basic offices, one in Olomouc, in the company’s headquarters, and on in Brno. Thanks to the successful expansion in the design field, the company two major expansions, that led to broadening the field of operation and improvement the offer in the field of design contracts.
At first, our company was expanded by a new branch in Valašské Meziříčí, which was transformed by the original Design centre of construction renovation of railways.
Second major expansion was integration of architects and designers of former Invespol s.r.o. company in 2002 to the structure of MCO. They were experienced designers of building construction, who could establish another standalone branch to focus on exterior and interior architecture and building construction.
Last expansion took place in the spring of 2014 with establishing of multi-profession branch in Ostrava. The deployment of the company to all Moravian regions was now complete.
Today, MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s. is on of the biggest design organisations dealing with comprehensive solution of railway construction including infrastructure.
From the beginning, MORAVIA CONSULT Olomouc a.s. plays an important role in modernization of railway transit corridors in and outside of the Czech Republic. The most important clients are SŽDC s.r.o. and ČD a.s.
